Privacy statement
Version 1, in effect from 2026-10-24.
Career Coach is a job-search app. It keeps track of your applications, helps you write resumes, cover letters and notes for a job, and helps you get ready for interviews. It is a preview, run by V-Network Solutions for invited testers. V-Network Solutions decides how your information is used and is responsible for it (its "controller", in EU and UK law).
This statement describes what the app does today. When that changes, this statement changes first, and you're asked to read it and agree to the terms again.
Questions: help@vnetkc.com. Signed in, you can also use Send feedback.
In short
- Nothing about you is sold, used for advertising, or shared for anyone else's use.
- What you add is kept so the app can show it back to you and do what you ask.
- When you press a button that uses AI, the app sends what that task needs to Claude, an AI made by Anthropic. Nothing is sent to Claude unless you press something, with one exception: after you message the Coach, the interviewer in practice, the career interview or the Getting started chat, the app sends that conversation's request to Anthropic again every few minutes, the same content your message sent, for up to 15 minutes, to keep it in Anthropic's cache so your next message costs less. Each shows on AI usage under its own name (Keeping the Coach warm, Keeping a practice interview warm, Keeping a career interview warm, Keeping Getting started warm), and turning Claude off stops it.
- The app never sends Claude the contact details in your profile (name, e-mail address, phone number, town, links), your passwords, or the pay you've entered, except when a button says your pay goes with it. Anything written in a file you ask Claude to read goes with the file.
- In Settings › Privacy you can turn Claude off, or keep certain kinds of information from it.
- You can delete what you've added, one thing at a time (a few things only go with their application, and a few stay for a time after you delete them: see How long things are kept), or your whole account at any time.
What the app keeps
- Your account: your name, e-mail address and settings. Your password is kept only as a one-way hash, which can't be turned back into the password. If you turn on two-step sign-in, its secret is kept encrypted; a Claude key you add, or one V-Network Solutions uses for your account, is kept encrypted too.
- What you add: everything on Your career (headline, summary, jobs, bullets, skills, schools, certifications, projects, awards, volunteering, stories, notes, goals and pay); your applications (postings, notes, timelines, calls, contacts, interviews and calendar items) and the files you add to them, offer letters included; practice sessions; the people and companies you track, with contact photos and company logos; Library documents and pictures; resumes you import; and your conversations with the Coach.
- About other people: the recruiters, interviewers and contacts you add, and what you note about them, are kept for your job search and sent to Claude only as What goes to Claude says. V-Network Solutions never contacts them or uses their details for anything else. If someone you've added asks V-Network Solutions to remove their details, V-Network Solutions will ask you to remove them, and may remove them if you don't.
- What Claude wrote for you: every version of your documents, company research, analyses of postings, Library readings and cards, and redrafts.
- Text read from your files is kept with them, so the app can search and use it.
- Signing in: the kind of device and browser ("iPhone · Safari") and when. Your IP address is used briefly to protect sign-in, and never stored as an address. A scrambled network fingerprint of each wrong sign-in code is kept at most 24 hours, so one network's wrong codes do not lock you out from another.
- Errors you met: when, which part of the app, the reference the error page showed, the error's status and the app's version; never the page's address, what you typed or the error's message.
- AI use: for each AI task, which task it was, the model, its size and cost, and when. Not the words.
- Notifications, if you turn them on: the address your browser's notification service gives for that device.
- Your invitation: the name and e-mail address V-Network Solutions entered for you.
- Your agreement: when you agreed to each version of the terms and confirmed you'd read this statement, and on what kind of device.
- What you send V-Network Solutions: notes from Send feedback (with the page, the app's version and your kind of device, and a picture if you attach one, with where and when it was taken left out; you can remove the picture later on Feedback you've sent), your answers when V-Network Solutions asks the testers a question (with your name), and requests for more Claude credits.
Cookies and your device. Career Coach uses cookies and your browser's storage only to keep you signed in, protect its forms, remember choices you make on this device and, in the Home Screen app, reopen the last page you were on. A sign-in that lasts 30 days is kept only if you tick Stay signed in, and that tick is your agreement: Sign out takes it back at any time. None of this is for advertising or analytics, nothing is loaded from another site, and nothing is sold or shared. Cookies and storage lists each item, what it's for and how long it lasts. Settings › Privacy can stop your devices remembering your choices.
The app has no analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party scripts. It never reads your location; it keeps only your device's time zone, to show times. Speech you give in practice is turned into text on your device, and no sound is sent anywhere. A practice video never leaves your browser unless you save it.
Pictures and files are kept as you upload them. A phone photo may hold details such as where it was taken, and a Library picture keeps them; when Claude reads a picture, the app takes those details out first. Contact photos are made small and have those details removed before they're kept. Please don't add ID documents, passports, bank or card details, or medical records. The app doesn't need them. You can still talk with the Coach, in your own words, about support you'd like at work, once you turn on Health and support at work in Settings › Privacy. It starts off. Turning it on is your explicit agreement that what you tell the Coach, or write anywhere else in the app (a story, a note, a document), about your health or a disability is kept and sent to Claude, made by Anthropic, with the tasks that use it, for the reasons under Why it's used. While it's off, please leave your health out of what you add: the app can't tell it apart, and would still send it with the tasks that use it. To take your agreement back, turn the switch off. What you wrote stays, and goes with its conversation or task, until you delete or edit it. What was already sent stays at Anthropic as What goes to Claude says.
How it's stored and protected
- The app, its database and its files are hosted by DigitalOcean, in the United States: the app and its database in DigitalOcean's New York datacenter, your files in its San Francisco one. Your connection to the app, and the app's connections to its database and file storage, are encrypted.
- Your files are private. In the app, only your account can open your files and records. Files are kept in private storage that only this copy of the app can open; its key is kept in encrypted settings, never in code.
- DigitalOcean says it encrypts the disks it stores data on. The app doesn't add its own encryption to your files or their text; it does encrypt your two-step secret, and a Claude key you add or one V-Network Solutions uses for your account.
- DigitalOcean backs up the database every day and can restore it to any moment in the past 7 days. A backup is kept up to 7 days. Files have no backup. A file you delete in the Library or on an application, a contact's photo and a company's logo you remove are removed from storage at once, and if storage can't be reached the app says so and keeps them until it can. The logo file of a company you delete or clear is removed just after, and if storage can't be reached at that moment it stays until you delete your account. A file lost by accident couldn't be brought back, so keep your own copy of anything you can't lose.
Why it's used
V-Network Solutions uses your information only for these reasons. EU and UK law asks each to rest on a legal reason, given after it.
- To give you the app you joined: keeping what you add and showing it back to you, sending a task to Claude when you press it, Company research's searches, the e-mails you need (an invitation, a link to set a new password), the notifications you turn on, and the Claude credits you're given, spend and ask for. Reason: it's needed to provide the app under the terms you agreed to.
- To keep accounts and the app safe and working: sign-in records, the brief use of your IP address when you sign in, the errors you met, logs, backups, the AI use record that keeps Claude credits fair, and stopping a reply that turns into writing program code. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in a secure, working app. You can object (see Your choices).
- To keep a conversation warm: sending a conversation to Anthropic again for up to 15 minutes after you message, so your next message costs less. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in keeping the cost of Claude down. You can turn it off in Settings › Privacy, under Keep my conversations warm, without turning Claude off.
- To fix and improve the app from what you send: your feedback notes, your answers to V-Network Solutions's questions, and the fix list. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in improving the app. You can object, and with Use Claude off your notes are not sent on.
- To show what you agreed to: your agreement records. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in being able to show which words you agreed to.
- The people you add: recruiters, interviewers and contacts, kept for your job search. Reason: your and V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in your job search (see About other people).
- Your invitation, before you join: the name and e-mail address V-Network Solutions entered. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in inviting people who agreed to test.
- Your health or a disability, if you choose to tell the Coach or write it in the app: see Pictures and files. Reason: your explicit agreement (the Health and support at work switch), which you can take back. While the switch is off, anything about your health you add anyway is kept and sent with the tasks that use it because you chose to add it, though you were asked not to: the app can't tell it apart from the rest.
- Where the law requires it: keeping or handing over information. Reason: the law that requires it.
Your name and e-mail address are needed to make an account. Everything else you add is up to you.
Who can see it
- You.
- V-Network Solutions, who runs the app. The app never shows V-Network Solutions your applications, career, documents or conversations. For a tester it shows: your name and e-mail address; when you joined and when you last used the app; the Claude credits you've been given and what you've spent, with how many calls; whether you use your own Claude key, whether it works and how many calls you make on it (never what they cost); to help with troubleshooting, the kinds of device you're signed in on, whether two-step sign-in is on, whether your last Claude call was Mock or Live, the errors you met (when, which part of the app, and the reference the error page showed) and the Claude calls that didn't finish (their kind, when, and how they ended), never what you wrote; and what you send V-Network Solutions. V-Network Solutions may also pay for your calls with a Claude key of their own, and then sees what those calls cost.
- From the Testers page, V-Network Solutions can also turn off your two-step sign-in if you've lost your device (your sign-in history then says it was reset), sign you out everywhere, pause your Claude use and delete your account (terms 10 says when).
- If you can't sign in, V-Network Solutions can make you a link to set a new password. Using it changes your password and signs you out everywhere, so you'd notice. V-Network Solutions only ever passes it to you.
- V-Network Solutions also runs the server and database your data is kept on, so could reach it outside the app. V-Network Solutions does that only to keep the app working, to fix a problem you report, to remove a person's details at their request (see About other people), or when the law requires it.
- V-Network Solutions may paste a note you sent into V-Network Solutions's own Claude account, under that account's terms and with its setting that lets Anthropic train on chats turned off, and keep it without your name in their project notes on GitHub, to fix what it's about; the picture attached to it goes there only while its box "may show this picture to Claude" stays ticked. V-Network Solutions may also send a note on to a fix list kept in this app, which V-Network Solutions's coding sessions read through a private key. It holds the note's words without your name or e-mail until your account is deleted, and thirty days after the fix the words are erased and only that it was fixed is kept. A copy a session already read may stay in that session's record on V-Network Solutions's computer for up to 30 days, and in V-Network Solutions's Claude account, which is set so Anthropic doesn't train its models on it and from which no feedback on those chats is sent to Anthropic. It stays there until V-Network Solutions deletes it; deleting a note or taking a picture back reaches this app's list and nothing beyond it. With Use Claude off for your account, your notes are not sent on. Your answers to V-Network Solutions's questions to the testers may be copied there too, without names. Logs, which hold account numbers but no words, are read the same way.
- No one can use the Coach to reach another account. No AI task, for anyone, V-Network Solutions included, can fetch or change another account's data.
What goes to Claude
Claude is an AI made by Anthropic. The Coach is Claude. What it writes can be wrong: check it before you rely on it or send it to anyone. It makes no decisions about you or anyone else. The ratings the app shows, such as a call's rough read (worked out by the app, not by Claude) or how a posting matches your record, are for you alone and used for nothing else.
Only when you press, with one exception. Each AI button sends what its task needs. Usually that's your career record (everything on Your career except your contact details and pay; your stories and job notes unless you turn them off), the posting or message it's about, and what you typed for it. The Coach also gets your applications' details, the documents written for the application you're talking about, the page you asked about, and the conversation so far. Some requests go to Anthropic more than once to finish the task; the same content goes each time. The one exception: after you message the Coach, the interviewer in practice, the career interview or the Getting started chat, the app sends that conversation's request to Anthropic again every few minutes, the same content your message sent, for up to 15 minutes, to keep it in Anthropic's cache so your next message costs less. Each shows on AI usage under its own name (Keeping the Coach warm, Keeping a practice interview warm, Keeping a career interview warm, Keeping Getting started warm), and turning Claude off stops it.
Sent as it is: what you type to the Coach; documents you ask Claude to read (the whole file, and a PDF with its own details, such as who made it); pictures you ask Claude to read, without the details stored inside them; a file or screenshot you start an application from; postings; and recruiters' messages, after the app takes out e-mail addresses and phone numbers (a picture or PDF of a recruiter's message is sent as it is, so an e-mail address or phone number in it goes too). A resume you import is sent whole to be read, contact details included.
Never sent by the app: your contact details from your profile; your passwords and sign-in details; the pay you've entered, except when a button says your pay goes with it (Ask the Coach to sum it up sends the figures, with no names); offer letters; contact photos and company logos. Pay or contact details you type to the Coach, or that are written in a document you ask Claude to read, go with it.
Half price. Some tasks can be sent at half price and collected later. That request waits at Anthropic until the app collects it, then the app deletes it there; a result the app can't keep stays at Anthropic until Anthropic deletes it. A change in Settings can't call back a request already sent. If you delete your account, a request still waiting is cancelled and removed at Anthropic first.
Company research lets Claude search the web. Anthropic has the searches run by search companies it works with in the United States (Brave Search, TurboPuffer and Parallel Web Systems), which see the search words Claude writes, not your career. Claude is told not to search for you.
What Anthropic does with it. Anthropic's commercial terms say it doesn't train its models on what the app sends, and V-Network Solutions has not opted the app's account into any program that lets Anthropic learn from it. Its privacy center says it deletes it within 30 days, with these exceptions. A request its safety systems flag as breaking Anthropic's usage policy may be kept up to 2 years, and the safety scores about it up to 7 years. Anything may be kept longer where needed to deal with a breach of that policy, or where the law requires. And Anthropic may keep data it has made anonymous for research or statistics. Anthropic stores what the app sends in the United States, and Claude may run a task in another country where Anthropic has computers. That is Anthropic's own account, as of 2026-10-24, and it covers what the app sends, not a note V-Network Solutions pastes into their own Claude account.
What Claude was sent for a resume is on that resume's page.
A code for the account. Every request to Claude carries a code that tells Anthropic which of the app's accounts it came from, so Anthropic can look into misuse. It is not your name, your e-mail address or your account number, the app keeps it nowhere and shows it nowhere, and it is the same on every request of one account.
Keeping things from Claude
Settings › Privacy:
- Use Claude. Turn it off and the app sends nothing to Claude. Your applications, notes, calendar and Library keep working; the AI buttons say they're off.
- By kind, each on until you turn it off, each saying what you lose: your stories; notes on your jobs and Library proofs; Library documents; people you talk to and your call notes; your speaking pace and heard-word corrections; company research's web search.
- Keep this from Claude, on a Library document's page: that one document's words and cards are never sent, the Coach can't attach it, neither the reading nor a card's redraft or look-over sends it, and a proof on Your career that quotes it is left out of what a task sends. It works beside the Library documents switch, so either one keeps a document from Claude. A conversation that already holds the document keeps what it holds, and Download my data carries the choice.
- Keep my conversations warm, on until you turn it off: off, the app never sends a conversation to Claude again after your message, and nothing else about Claude changes.
- Health and support at work, off until you turn it on: while it's off, the Coach is told not to ask about your health, and to point you to the switch if you bring it up. Turning it on is your explicit agreement (see Pictures and files).
- Never sent is listed there too.
A change applies from your next press. What's already in a Coach conversation, a practice session or something Claude wrote earlier stays in it and goes with it: a conversation sends what's been said each time, and a brief that names the people you're meeting still names them in practice. Start a new conversation or practice session to leave it behind.
Other companies
- Anthropic: the AI tasks, as above.
- Brave Search, TurboPuffer and Parallel Web Systems: they run Company research's web searches for Anthropic, and see the search words Claude writes. You can turn web search off in Settings › Privacy.
- DigitalOcean: hosting, the database and file storage. All traffic passes through it, and through Cloudflare, which DigitalOcean uses to carry traffic to the app, so both see your IP address.
- Better Stack: the app's log lines: technical details such as account numbers and error codes, never your words, e-mail address, phone number, names or pay. Better Stack keeps them 3 days. DigitalOcean, which runs the app, also keeps its own runtime logs for a period it doesn't publish; its build and deploy logs, which hold no one's words, are kept 90 days.
- Microsoft 365: every e-mail the app sends (an invitation or a link to set a new password) goes through Microsoft 365. Only an invitation keeps a copy, in the sender's sent mail. Microsoft keeps a delivery record of every one (the address it went to, its subject and whether it arrived) for up to 90 days. If V-Network Solutions sent your invitation another way, it stays wherever they sent it.
- Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft, if you turn on notifications: they carry each one, encrypted so they can't read it; they see when and to which device. Your lock screen shows only what you chose.
- Company websites: unless you turn off Company logos from their websites in Settings › Privacy, the app's server fetches a company's logo from its website: the one you typed, or one the app found from a posting's address or a contact's work e-mail, or an image address you pasted on that site. If the site can't be reached, it tries again at most once a day. Only you see the logo. Nothing about you is sent, but the site can see someone looked it up. Remove a logo and it isn't fetched again.
- GitHub: V-Network Solutions's project notes and the app's code are kept in private repositories on GitHub, a Microsoft company, in the United States. A note you send may be copied there without your name or e-mail address, as Who can see it says. Nothing else about you is kept there.
- Where it's handled: V-Network Solutions runs the app from the United States, and the companies above handle your information mainly in the United States (Better Stack keeps the log lines in Germany, in the European Union). If you're in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your information leaves it. The data processing terms of DigitalOcean and Better Stack rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, and Better Stack's fall back on standard contractual clauses. Anthropic's data processing terms, which also cover the search companies it uses, include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK's addendum to them. Ask V-Network Solutions for a copy of any of these terms.
How long things are kept
- What you add: until you delete it, or your account.
- An archived Coach conversation: deleted 30 days after you archive it, unless you restore it or choose 60 days, 90 days or never on Archived.
- Kept after you delete it, until your account is deleted: a story or note you delete has its words erased from Your career at once, with its proof, its redrafts and the voice check's copies of it, and only a marker that it was deleted stays. Anything already written from it, such as a resume or letter version or a Coach conversation, keeps what it says until you delete that too, and backups keep the old words up to 7 days. When you merge people or companies, join two jobs or split a role, a copy of what they were is kept so the change can be undone; once you undo it, only who it named is kept (a join or a split keeps only that it happened), and removing a role forgets the copies of the jobs that named it. A change the Coach made stays after you delete its conversation, so you can still undo it. The AI use record stays. A feedback note you've sent can be deleted on Feedback you've sent.
- Not deleted on their own: a single version of a document, or a single practice session. They go with their application. Calendar items stay when their application is deleted, until you delete them.
- A file you add to start an application: a day, unless you keep it with the application.
- A Claude task you pressed: what you typed or said for it, up to 30 days after it finishes, so a restart doesn't lose it.
- A task waiting for credits: its words, up to 30 days, or until it's sent or you cancel it.
- Your invitation: 30 days after it's used or ends. Your agreements: until your account is deleted. After that, a record with no name, e-mail or device of the versions you agreed to, how and on what day is kept for six years, only to show which words were in force.
- Sign-ins: if you tick Stay signed in, up to 30 days from your last visit; if you don't, until you close the browser, or 12 hours. Sign-in history: 90 days. A record that a sign-in ended: 31 days. A scrambled network fingerprint of each wrong sign-in code: kept at most 24 hours.
- Errors you met: the newest 50, for 90 days.
- Notifications sent: 30 days. E-mails the app sent: 90 days, recording the kind and the outcome with a scrambled form of the address, never the address or the link.
- Logs: 3 days at Better Stack; DigitalOcean's runtime logs for a period it doesn't publish; its build and deploy logs, which hold no one's words, are kept 90 days. Database backups: up to 7 days. At Anthropic: up to 30 days, longer in the cases under What goes to Claude.
Your choices
- See it, or take a copy: most of what you've added is in the app. What's kept but not shown is listed under How long things are kept. Ask V-Network Solutions and they'll send you a copy of everything held about you. They can also open Download my data to you for a day, so you can save your career, applications and Library as a file another app can read; that page lists what the file leaves out, and V-Network Solutions sends the rest if you ask.
- Correct it: edit anything you've added.
- Delete it: one thing at a time, or your whole account from Account › Delete my account, with your password. That removes your data and files from the app at once and signs you out everywhere; a half-price request still waiting is cancelled and removed at Anthropic first. What remains for a while: backups (up to 7 days), Anthropic's copy (up to 30 days, longer in the cases under What goes to Claude), e-mail records (90 days, and Microsoft's delivery record up to 90 days), logs (as above), for six years, your month's AI cost in a total for the month with no name or account, and a record with no name of the versions you agreed to and on what days. Copies outside the app stay: your invitation in the sender's sent mail, and any note V-Network Solutions pasted into their own Claude account or kept, without your name, in their project notes on GitHub.
- Notifications: on or off for each device, in Settings.
- Claude: Settings › Privacy.
- Health information: the app can't tell health words from other words, so what you write goes with the tasks that use it whether or not Health and support at work is on. Turning it on, in Settings › Privacy, is your explicit agreement, and while it's off please leave your health out (see Pictures and files). If you live in Washington, Nevada or Connecticut, the Consumer health data privacy policy is for you.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: the app doesn't sell or share your information, show ads or track you across other sites, so there is nothing else for these signals to turn off. With Global Privacy Control, this device remembers none of the choices listed under Remembered in Cookies and storage.
- Limit it: you can ask V-Network Solutions to stop using something of yours while a question about it, such as whether it's right, is settled.
- Object: you can object at any time to any use that rests on V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest (see Why it's used). V-Network Solutions then stops, unless there's a compelling reason that outweighs yours, and tells you what it is.
- Asking and complaining: wherever you live, ask V-Network Solutions through help@vnetkc.com for any of these. V-Network Solutions answers within a month, free of charge, or tells you within that month why it will take up to two months more. You can also complain to V-Network Solutions the same way, and V-Network Solutions acknowledges a complaint within 30 days. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office). The app doesn't sell what it holds about you, use it for advertising, or use it to make decisions about you.
- If V-Network Solutions says no: you can ask V-Network Solutions to look again within 45 days. V-Network Solutions answers within 45 days and, if the answer is still no, tells you how to complain to your state's attorney general.
Read the Consumer health data privacy policy
Career Coach is not meant for anyone under 18, and V-Network Solutions doesn't knowingly let anyone younger join. If V-Network Solutions learns an account belongs to someone under 18, the account and its data are deleted.
If something goes wrong
If V-Network Solutions learns that someone who shouldn't have has reached your data, V-Network Solutions will tell you by e-mail without unreasonable delay, and within 30 days at most unless the police ask V-Network Solutions to wait. You'll be told what happened, what it reached, what V-Network Solutions has done and what you can do, such as changing your password or replacing a Claude key. V-Network Solutions also reports it to any authority the law requires.
Changes
These words have a version number and the date they took effect, and What changed, at the end of this page, lists each change with its date. Whenever the words change, the date shows the day of the change and you're asked to agree again before you go on using the app, and nothing you added earlier is used in a new way until you have. A bigger change also takes a new version number.
Terms of use
Version 1, in effect from 2026-10-24.
You agree to these terms, and confirm you've read the privacy statement above, by ticking the box when you join (which also says you're 18 or older), or by pressing Agree and go on when the words change. If you don't agree, don't join, or delete your account.
1. What Career Coach is
A job-search app run by V-Network Solutions, a trade name used by a private person, not a registered company. These terms are an agreement between you and V-Network Solutions. It keeps track of your applications, writes resumes, cover letters and notes for a job, helps you prepare and practise for interviews, and has a Coach to talk your job search through. Its AI is Claude, made by Anthropic.
2. It's a preview
- Career Coach is open only to people V-Network Solutions invites who live in the United States. It is free to use.
- It is still being built. Features change, things break, and pages may look different tomorrow. Send feedback when something is wrong.
- Files you add have no backup. Keep your own copy of anything you can't lose.
- V-Network Solutions may pause or end the preview. You'll be told in the app at least 14 days before it ends, with Download my data opened to you, and your account and data are then deleted.
- You're welcome to chat casually about what V-Network Solutions is building and what you're testing, without giving away its secrets. The only ask: don't post pictures of it publicly or share confidential details without asking V-Network Solutions first. You can always talk about your own job search.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- One person per account. Don't share your sign-in, and keep your password to yourself. Two-step sign-in is there if you want it.
- If you think someone else has got into your account, change your password (that signs out your other devices) and tell V-Network Solutions through Send feedback.
4. Claude credits
V-Network Solutions gives you Claude credits, which pay for your AI tasks on V-Network Solutions's Anthropic account, unless a Claude key pays for them (below). They have no cash value, can't be passed to anyone else, and may be changed or paused. When they run out, the AI buttons stop until more are added; everything else keeps working.
Your own Claude key. If you add a Claude key from your own Anthropic account, then while two-step sign-in is on and the key works, the AI tasks you run are paid on that account and sent under Anthropic's terms for it. Anthropic's terms for your own account then decide what Anthropic keeps, and whether it may learn from it. If the key stops working, or two-step sign-in is off, your tasks go back to your credits on V-Network Solutions's account until it works again. You're responsible for what your key is charged, so set a spending limit in Anthropic's console. The app keeps the key encrypted, uses it only for your own AI tasks and to check that it works, and keeps a conversation warm on it for up to 15 minutes if you turn that on in Settings. You can remove it in Settings at any time. If V-Network Solutions pays for your account with a key of their own, your tasks are paid on V-Network Solutions's Anthropic account, as credits are, and no conversation is kept warm on it.
5. Use it for your own job search
The AI is there for your career: your applications, your documents, your practice and your questions about your job search. Please don't:
- use the Coach or any AI task for work that isn't your job search, such as writing code for a project, schoolwork, someone else's business, or long chats on other subjects;
- try to make the Coach or a task ignore its instructions, reveal them, or reach anyone else's data, including by hiding instructions in a posting, a document or a file;
- add other people's private details beyond what a job search normally involves (a recruiter's name and message, who you met at an interview);
- add ID documents, passports, bank or card numbers, or medical records (you can still talk with the Coach, in your own words, about support you'd like at work, once Health and support at work is on in Settings › Privacy);
- add anything illegal, or anything meant to harm, harass or deceive someone;
- add something that isn't yours unless you have the right to: Career Coach is meant for keeping postings, companies' pages, recruiters' messages and documents for your own job search, but don't use it to share someone else's work, or a photo of someone, beyond what your job search needs;
- test or get around the app's security, overload it, or run scripts or bots against it. If you find a weakness, tell V-Network Solutions through Send feedback, and don't use it;
- use what Claude writes in ways Anthropic's usage policy forbids. That policy applies to everything sent to Claude.
V-Network Solutions may pause your Claude use or your account if these terms are broken, and will tell you why. Some limits work on their own: a reply from Claude that turns into writing program code is stopped part way, and too many wrong tries at signing in pause sign-in for a while.
6. What the AI writes
What Claude writes can be wrong, out of date or not right for you. Read it, and check any fact in it, before you send it to an employer or rely on it. Career Coach makes no decisions about you or anyone else. The Coach is an AI, not a person, and not a professional career counsellor, lawyer, tax or financial adviser, immigration adviser or doctor, so what it says isn't professional advice of any of those kinds. For a question about a contract, a non-compete, your rights at work, a visa, tax or investments, ask a qualified professional. Career Coach can't promise you an interview, an offer or a level of pay.
7. Who Career Coach belongs to
Career Coach (its code, design, the app's own words, its name and Two Cs mark as used here, and the instructions it gives Claude) belongs to V-Network Solutions, who keeps all rights in it. You may use it for your own job search while you're invited. Please don't copy the app or its design, take it apart or reverse engineer it (except as far as the law where you live allows), copy it in bulk with scripts or bots (your browser, its accessibility tools and extensions you use for yourself are fine), try to get the instructions it gives Claude, use its name or mark as the name or mark of anything else, or use Career Coach to build another app or to train an AI model. This doesn't touch what you add or what is written for you, which stay yours (section 8): you may send and reuse the documents it makes for you, as they look, however you like.
Company names and logos you see in Career Coach belong to their owners. The app shows them only to you, to mark which company is which; it doesn't mean any company is connected with Career Coach or approves of it.
8. Your content is yours
- What you add stays yours. Career Coach claims no ownership of it.
- What Claude writes for you is yours to use as you like. V-Network Solutions claims no rights in it and will never assert any against you or anyone you give it to. V-Network Solutions gives you whatever rights V-Network Solutions has in it, including those Anthropic's terms give the account that pays for the call, and if any of them can't pass to you, lets you use, change and share it freely, for good, at no cost. This stays after you leave. A call on your own Claude key comes to you under Anthropic's terms for your key's account. Parts of it may come from others, such as a posting's words or a company's own pages, and those stay theirs. The law may not treat text an AI wrote as anyone's work, so you may not be able to stop others copying it, and Claude may write something much like it for someone else. What you change and add to it is your own work.
- You give V-Network Solutions permission, free of charge, to keep, copy, convert (for example reading the text out of a file, taking the hidden details out of a photo, or making it smaller), back up, show back to you, and send to Claude what you add and what is written for you, only to run Career Coach for you and as the privacy statement says. The companies the privacy statement names may do the same for V-Network Solutions, for that purpose alone.
- That permission ends for each thing when you delete it, or your account, apart from what the privacy statement says is kept after that, and for how long.
- It is used for nothing else, except a note you send V-Network Solutions, as section 9 says.
9. Feedback
If you send ideas, notes or pictures, you give V-Network Solutions permission, free of charge, to keep, copy and use them to understand and improve Career Coach, as this section and the privacy statement say, and to build your ideas into the app without owing you anything for them. They're never published or shown to other testers. A picture of a page still shows your own content, which stays yours (section 8), and taking a picture back on Feedback you've sent ends this permission for it, apart from what the privacy statement says is kept after that, and for how long. A note may be pasted into V-Network Solutions's own Claude account, under that account's terms, with training on chats turned off, and kept in V-Network Solutions's project notes, to fix what it's about; never with your name or e-mail address. A note may also be sent on to a fix list kept in the app, which V-Network Solutions's coding sessions read through a private key, as the privacy statement says. A picture attached to it goes there only while its box "may show this picture to Claude" stays ticked. Answers to V-Network Solutions's questions to the testers may be copied there too, without names.
10. Leaving
- You can stop whenever you like, and delete your account from Account › Delete my account. It takes your data with it, as the privacy statement says. If you'd like a copy of your career first, ask V-Network Solutions to open Download my data to you for a day.
- V-Network Solutions may end your access. Unless these terms were broken, you'll be told in the app at least 14 days before, and V-Network Solutions opens Download my data to you so you can save a copy first; then your account and data are deleted.
11. No guarantees
Career Coach is a free preview, provided as it is. There's no promise that it will always be available, free of mistakes, or right for your situation. V-Network Solutions isn't responsible for losses that come from using it, including lost data, except where the law doesn't allow that to be limited: for example, harm caused on purpose or through gross carelessness, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or a breach of data protection law. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law where you live gives you and that an agreement can't remove.
12. Changes
Whenever these terms or the privacy statement change, the date at the top shows the day of the change, the app lists what changed, and you're asked to agree again before you go on. A bigger change also gets a new version number. Until you agree, the app shows you only the new words, What's new, Delete my account and, if V-Network Solutions has opened it for you, Download my data. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
13. If there's a disagreement
These terms are governed by the law of Missouri, in the United States. If something goes wrong between you and V-Network Solutions, tell V-Network Solutions first, at help@vnetkc.com, and you'll both try to settle it within 30 days. If it can't be settled, the courts of Missouri can decide it. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose law protects consumers in ways an agreement can't change, you keep that protection, and you can bring a claim in your own courts where that law allows it.
14. Questions
Help@vnetkc.com, or Send feedback when you're signed in.
If you, or anyone, think something in Career Coach uses your work, picture, name or mark without the right to, tell V-Network Solutions at help@vnetkc.com, and V-Network Solutions will look into it and may remove it.
What changed
Newest first. Each change to these words is dated here, and you are asked to agree again.
- 2026-10-24: Sign-in records now say that a scrambled network fingerprint of each wrong sign-in code (not your address) is kept at most 24 hours, so one network's wrong codes do not lock you out from another, and that your IP address is never stored as an address.
- 2026-10-24: Kept after you delete it now names joining two jobs and splitting a role beside merging people and companies, and says removing a role forgets their copies. Half price now says a result the app can't keep stays at Anthropic until Anthropic deletes it. Who can see it now says V-Network Solutions may reach the database to remove a person's details when they ask.
- 2026-10-24: Health and support at work now says plainly what happens while its switch is off, and once it is turned off again: the Coach is told not to ask about your health (an instruction to Claude, not a block), and, in the privacy statement and the Consumer health data privacy policy alike, anything about your health you add anyway is kept and sent with the tasks that use it because you chose to add it, though you were asked not to.
- 2026-10-24: Career Coach may now invite people in Washington, Nevada and Connecticut too, so the terms no longer leave those states out. A new page, the Consumer health data privacy policy, says what the app does with information about your health: only what you write, with Health and support at work as your agreement, and how to ask, delete or ask again (within 45 days) if V-Network Solutions says no. Your choices gains a Health information item and the same 45-day line, and Other companies now says Better Stack keeps the log lines in Germany, in the European Union. How long things are kept now gives DigitalOcean's periods: database backups up to 7 days, its runtime logs a period it doesn't publish, and its build and deploy logs 90 days. Why it's used now says what happens to health words you add while Health and support at work is off. Changes, and the terms' 12, now say the date shows the day of the change.
- 2026-10-24: Keeping a conversation warm (the one exception to "only when you press") now lasts up to 15 minutes after you message, not 30; turning it off leaves Anthropic's own 5-minute cache.
- 2026-10-22: The privacy statement and the terms were revised after an agent review. They now name V-Network Solutions as the person responsible and say why each use happens and on what legal reason, list every right with a one-month answer and how to complain, and say which law applies and how a disagreement is settled. Settings › Privacy has two new switches: Health and support at work, off until you turn it on, and Keep my conversations warm, on until you turn it off. They say where your information is handled and what protects it, give Anthropic's longer keeping and where Claude runs, list GitHub among the companies, say that each request to Claude carries a code for your account, and match backups, deletions, logs, sign-ins and cookies to what the app does. The terms now say what Claude writes for you is yours to use, that the law may not protect AI text and Claude may write something similar for others, and what you let V-Network Solutions and the companies it uses do with your content, only to run Career Coach for you; that company names and logos belong to their owners; that you add only what you have the right to; what you let V-Network Solutions do with feedback and its pictures; how anyone can tell V-Network Solutions if something uses their work or mark; and that the Coach is no lawyer, tax or financial adviser. V-Network Solutions gives 14 days' notice, with Download my data, before ending access.
- 2026-10-21: How long things are kept now says an archived Coach conversation is deleted 30 days after you archive it, unless you restore it or choose 60 days, 90 days or never on Archived; nothing is deleted sooner than 3 days after the choice changes, and the bell tells you 3 days before.
- 2026-10-20: What goes to Claude and the terms now say V-Network Solutions may send a note you sent on to a fix list kept in the app, which V-Network Solutions's coding sessions read through a private key: it holds the note's words without your name or e-mail until your account is deleted, the words are erased thirty days after the fix, a copy a session already read may stay in its record on V-Network Solutions's computer for up to 30 days and in V-Network Solutions's Claude account, deleting reaches the app's list alone, and a note is not sent on while Use Claude is off for your account.
- 2026-10-20: What goes to Claude and Other companies now name the companies that run Company research's web searches for Anthropic (Brave Search, TurboPuffer and Parallel Web Systems), which see the search words Claude writes. Other companies now names Cloudflare, which DigitalOcean uses to carry traffic to the app and which sees your IP address, and says Microsoft keeps a delivery record of every e-mail the app sends for up to 90 days; Delete it says so too.
- 2026-10-20: What goes to Claude's one exception to "only when you press" now covers practice, the career interview and the Getting started chat too: after you message the Coach, the interviewer in practice, the career interview or the Getting started chat, the app sends that conversation's request to Anthropic again every few minutes, the same content your message sent, for up to 30 minutes, to keep it in Anthropic's cache so your next message costs less. Each shows on AI usage under its own name (Keeping the Coach warm, Keeping a practice interview warm, Keeping a career interview warm, Keeping Getting started warm), and turning Claude off stops it.
- 2026-10-19: What goes to Claude now names its one exception to "only when you press": after you message the Coach, the app sends that conversation's request to Anthropic again every few minutes, the same content your message sent, for up to 30 minutes, to keep it in Anthropic's cache so your next message costs less. It shows on AI usage as Keeping the Coach warm, and turning Claude off stops it.
- 2026-10-19: What the app keeps and How it's stored now say a Claude key you add, or one the person who runs the app uses for your account, is kept encrypted. Who can see it now says the person who runs the app sees whether you use your own Claude key, whether it works and how many calls you make on it, never what they cost, and may pay for your calls with a key of their own. The terms say a Claude key pays on that key's account.
- 2026-10-18: Who can see it now lists what the person who runs the app sees on a tester's page to help with troubleshooting: the kinds of device you're signed in on, whether two-step sign-in is on, whether your last Claude call was Mock or Live, the errors you met and the Claude calls that didn't finish, never what you wrote. What the app keeps and How long things are kept now list the errors you met (the newest 50, for 90 days).

A visitor who has never signed in on this device gets only the form cookie, on Sign in and an invitation. After you sign out, an unsent note is removed. If you did not choose Stay signed in, the last page and your Read aloud and Hide the list choices go too; if you did, they stay until you press Clear.
